  ProSep Inc. was awarded a contract valued at approximately $13 million for the design and supply of a seawater treatment and water injection system for installation on a floating production system that will operate in a deepwater Gulf of Mexico field. This contract represents the Company's third contract award in the region.

  01/30/2012 - Det norske Spuds Storebjorn Well

  Drilling operations on Storebjørn, in production license 450, has commenced. Well 7/12-13 S is the first well in the license, which was awarded in the 2007 APA licensing round (Awards in Predefined Areas). The Storebjørn prospect is located in the southern North Sea, in close proximity to existing infrastructure on the Ula and Gyda fields.

  Treaty Energy Corporation reported drilling success on its first oil well, San Juan #2, in Belize, Central America. The San Juan #2 well is near Independence Village, Belize, located adjacent to the Port of Big Creek in the Stann Creek District.

  01/30/2012 - OGX Begins Production at Waimea Well

  OGX Petróleo e Gás has initiated the opening procedure of the first producing well of FPSO OSX-1, denominated OGX-26HP, on January 28, 2012. The beginning of the production procedure initiated through the injection of chemical products into the well for the preliminary treatment of oil and gas which will be processed by the vessel.

  01/30/2012 - Sonangol Starfish finds traces of oil in Brazil’s pre-salt layer

  Sonangol Starfish has made its first discovery of traces of oil in the sea, in Brazil’s Campos Basin, in a block that had already been unsuccessfully drilled, the company said in a statement sent to the National Oil Agency (ANP). The discovery was made in the pre-salt region of the block.
