The WilHunter (mid-water semisub) incurred technical downtime on Wednesday, January 18 while drilling for MPX Energy Ltd, reported Awilco Drilling.

 

The semisub was drilling the Orlando well, located in Block 3/3b in the UKCS, as part of the SPD multi-well multi-client program.

 

The technical downtime, combined with adverse weather conditions, has resulted in the continued cessation of drilling activity. The outstanding repair work and equipment re-testing is expected to be completed around February 7.
