DOF Subsea appoints new HR VP

With robust professional experience, the new VP has a Masters in Management of Change and training in Business Acquisition and Supply Chain

On April 14th, the Norwegian DOF Subsea publicly announced its new Human Resources Vice President: Terje Løvoll. Terje has a solid background in Human Resources, along with experience in Management. The new VP started his activities on the 18 of April.

“Terje’s academic training and experience in management of change will enhance our global HR team at DOF Subsea”, said the Board of the company. Terje has an extensive professional range, from the Armed Forces of Norway to the oil and gas industry - he has worked at companies such as Rolls-Royce, Siem Industries and V-Ships. Terje has a Masters degree in Management of Change, as well as training in Business Acquisition and Supply Chain. “His strong business experience will definitely bring new dimensions to our HR activities”, they added.

DOF Subsea is one of the largest operators and owners of subsea vessels in the world, with a fleet of 21 vessels and 67 ROVs (62 in operation and 5 ordered). Today, it has approximately 1,560 employees around the globe and its market value is estimated at approx. NOK16 billion (USD2bi approx.) Created in 2005, DOF Subsea is 51% DOF ASA owned and 49% of First Reserve Corporation. Its assets are estimated at NOK20mi (USD2.5mi approx.). Operational bases and offices can be found in Australia, Singapore, UK, Angola, USA, Canada, Brazil and Norway, where it has the head office, in Bergen.

DOF Subsea Brazil, local representative of DOF Subsea, was founded in 2006, with offices in Rio de Janeiro and Macaé. Today, it is responsible for projects in 8 vessels, 19 ROVs and 400 employees. Its new construction program with Technip in a joint-venture consists of four new PLSV that will soon operate in Brazil for Petrobras, with deliveries starting in 2016.
