Executive Fábio Bertollo (pictured) assumed the presidency of ES Gás - the natural gas distributor of Espírito Santo - on Tuesday, August 1st, replacing Heber Resende, who held the position since the company's establishment. With over 25 years of experience in business development, energy, supply, and strategy in the natural gas industry, Bertollo arrives at ES Gás with the mission to enhance competitiveness and lead the company's expansion.

"I am pleased to join the ES Gás team. The company is well-structured to advance the expansion of the distribution network and the volume of natural gas in Espírito Santo. Our focus now will be to accelerate the implementation of the Business Plan for the 2020-2025 cycle, already approved by the State Public Services Regulation Agency (ARSP). It is also on our agenda to foster greater attractiveness for new industrial players, promote the use of natural gas vehicles (GNV), and offer efficient and sustainable solutions to our customers," stated Bertollo.

Assisting Bertollo in managing ES Gás are Walter Fernando Piazza Júnior, Director of Corporate Affairs, and Fernando Tupan Coragem, Administrative and Financial Director.

ES Gás was recently acquired by Energisa Group through a privatization auction, consolidating the Group's position as an ecosystem of energy solutions and a protagonist in Brazil's energy transition.

About Fábio Bertollo - Graduated in Economics, Bertollo holds a postgraduate degree in Strategic Finance from the University of Oxford and is currently enrolled in a Commodity Trading postgraduate program at the University of Geneva (Switzerland). Bertollo has achieved solid results in leading teams and implementing natural gas agreements in Brazil. He also has extensive knowledge in developing new businesses related to natural gas, such as infrastructure projects and strategic partnerships.
