Yesterday, Monday (06/05), the president of IBP, Roberto Ardenghy, participated in the inauguration of the traditional Brazil Pavilion at 10:30 am (local time). Later, he moderated the panel "Petrobras in the Energy Transition: Producing Low Carbon Oil and Preparing for the Future," which featured the presence of Petrobras president, Jean Paul Prates.
To conclude the first day, Ardenghy also moderated the panel "Brazil as the World High Spot of Clean and Decarbonized Energy Matrix" – which included representatives from Petrobras, COPPE/UFRJ, ANP, BNDES, Equinor, and TechnipFMC – at 2 pm, followed by participation in the "Welcome Reception" of the Brazil-Texas Chamber of Commerce (BRATECC) at 6:30 pm and participation in the "Brazil Energy Meeting."
The second day of the event will begin with Ardenghy's participation in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between IBP and the American Petroleum Institute (API) at 11 am. Then, starting from 3 pm, Ardenghy will participate in the event "Maritime Industries Connections – Brazil Offshore Energy Sector Roundtable Business Meeting – Brazilian Shipyards Map" in partnership with Petrobras.
On May 8th, Wednesday, the day will start with an "Offshore Breakfast" by BRATECC, with IBP's participation. The last day will be marked by the presence of Claudia Rabello, Corporate Executive Director of IBP, in the "Alberta Delegation" at 10 am. Next, we will have President Roberto Ardenghy moderating the panel "Renewable Energy Resources: Regulations, Standards, and Incentives" – with representatives from Corio Generation, TotalEnergies, and SLB – starting from 2 pm.
