Sebrae Sergipe is once again taking part in Sergipe Oil & Gas, one of the main events in the Northeast’s energy sector, which began this Wednesday, the 29th, and runs through Friday, the 31st, at the AM Malls Convention Center. The institution is participating in the program with a structure focused on strengthening the oil and gas value chain, fostering connections among major companies, small businesses, and public-sector managers.
During the event, Sebrae is presenting four strategic areas of activity. In the Territorial Development space, the focus is on discussions with municipalities regarding the use of oil royalties in public policies capable of driving local economic development, with an emphasis on independence from this resource. The Corporate Connections booth brings major companies closer to potential suppliers, expanding opportunities for micro and small businesses in Sergipe.
In the area dedicated to the Supplier Chain, 12 small businesses supported by Sebrae are taking part in the trade fair with booths subsidized by the institution. The companies underwent a preparation process, including consulting services and adjustments to obtain the certifications required by the market, arriving at the event ready to present their products and services to the sector’s leading companies. Innovation is also a highlight of Sebrae’s participation, with startups supported by the institution presenting technological solutions aimed at addressing the challenges of the oil and gas industry.
According to Sebrae Sergipe Superintendent Christiano Lebre, the institution’s participation in Sergipe Oil & Gas reinforces its commitment to strengthening the sector in the state. “We are bringing together all our potential for the oil and gas value chain, with innovation, a business roundtable, and connections, with the goal of further developing Sergipe’s productive landscape,” he emphasized.
Sebrae Sergipe Competitiveness Manager Thiago Oliveira notes that the institution’s participation in the event was planned to integrate different initiatives around a common objective. “Each year, Sebrae has taken a stronger position. Our four booths are connected by one purpose: to improve the development of Sergipe’s economy. In these spaces, we discuss everything from the use of royalties by municipalities to connections between major companies and Sergipe-based businesses, strengthening the entire value chain,” he stated.
Throughout the Sergipe Oil & Gas program, Sebrae is also carrying out a series of strategic initiatives, such as the Business Roundtable, which promotes meetings between buyers and suppliers; the Energy Legal Talk, a discussion on the main issues related to the legal profession and the future of energy, on Thursday, the 30th; the Innovation Arena, featuring 15 solutions developed during the Petrogas Bootcamp, which began last Thursday at Tiradentes University; the signing of the Innovation Pact with the oil and gas value chain and technology startups; and, on Friday, the 31st, the formalization of the Sergipe Charter, a document developed in partnership with municipalities during the State Forum on Territorial Development to strengthen the sector’s development and expand the benefits of oil-related activities for the state.
