As a representative entity of the Brazilian machinery and equipment industry, ABIMAQ welcomes the plurality of actors in all segments of the oil and natural gas sector. Since the end of the sector's monopoly, which occurred more than twenty years ago, some segments, such as refining, for example, still remain centralized, lacking greater openness in order to promote increased supply opportunities, not only for new investments, but also , mainly, for maintenance and modernization of the plants that currently exist and are in Petrobras' divestment plans.
