After three weeks recording progress, the price of hydrated ethanol fell again in the state of São Paulo, according to data from Cepea. Between September 8 and 11, the CEPEA / ESALQ Indicator for this biofuel was R $ 1.7741 / liter (without ICMS and without PIS / Cofins), down 2.26% compared to the previous week.

According to researchers from Cepea, in addition to the devaluation of gasoline at refineries, the supply of hydrate has grown a little, in view of the need to free up space in the tanks by some plants in São Paulo. In the case of anhydrous ethanol, the CEPEA / ESALQ Indicator closed at R $ 2.0754 / liter (without PIS / Cofins), a small decrease of 0.35% in relation to the previous week.
