Alexandre Vidigal de Oliveira is the new Secretary of Geology, Mining and Mineral Transformation of the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME). He is a retired federal judge, having served in Brasília, Mato Grosso, Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul.
Its activities in the Judiciary are associated with the years dedicated to the analysis and decision of issues of high complexity in the public sector, including in the energy, oil and mining sector, solving crises of the public-private relationship, predominantly in matters of Constitutional, administrative, tax law and criminal.
Alexandre Vidigal specializes in compliance issues, where he teaches courses for the public control sectors. He has extensive experience in public management, biddings, contracts, regulation, supervision, control and public policy.
He holds a Doctorate in Law with training abroad, at Carlos III University in Spain, with a title validated by the University of Brasília (UnB). He has several articles published in magazines and specialized websites in Law, highlighting his last texts published in subjects of civil and administrative responsibility for illicit practices against the Public Administration.
In his role as Secretary of Geology, Mining and Mineral Transformation, he will be responsible for the public management of the Geology and Mining sector, with activities in the fields of research, exploration, technologies, control, sustainability of natural resources, and the implementation of public policies and articulation with the other sectors and federated entities for the development of the sector.
His experience in the area of public management will contribute to the Brazilian mineral industry become more agile and dynamic, seeking more results and jobs for the country.
