André Clark Juliano, president and CEO of Siemens Brazil, considered one of the largest integrated technology companies in the world, will participate in the 3rd edition of the FEI - Megatrends 2050 Innovation Congress, which will address the theme "Technology for a quality life beyond 100 years - work, health and well-being ". Organized by FEI University Center, the event will be held on the campus of the Institution, in São Bernardo do Campo (SP), from 9am to 6pm, during the days 16, 17 and 18 of October.

 

The Congress, which is considered one of the largest events on innovation in the country, will feature panels, debates and the participation of CEOs, presidents and executives from different companies.

 

Different programs link three key areas: work, health and wellness

 

Siemens is a worldwide reference in the manufacture of products for telecommunications, electrical and energy materials, hospital equipment, household appliances, auto parts, among others. The president, André Clark Juliano, will participate in the panel "Technology for health: from diagnosis and treatment to bionics", which takes place on the second day of the event (17), focused on exploring the relationship between technology and health.

 

The first day (16) deal with the relationship between technology and work, and the third day (18) will address the relationship between technology and wellness, leading the public to consider whether Welfare in 2050 will be very different from what we see today.

 

The FEI - Megatrends 2050 Innovation Congress is restricted to the institution's students, guests and journalists, but will be transmitted online to the external audience. In 2017, there were 8,500 views on digital platforms and the event was viewed by people from 13 countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia. This year it is expected to attract more than 2,000 people. The event is sponsored by CBMM (Brazilian Metallurgy and Mining Company).

It also offers lato sensu postgraduate courses in the areas of Technology and Administration, among others; Master's degree in Administration, Electrical Engineering, Mechanics and Chemistry; and PhD in Administration and Electrical Engineering.
