Anhydrous and hydrated ethanols closed down in the week of November 23 to 27, according to USP's Cepea / Esalq Indicator. The greatest decrease occurred in hydrated ethanol, used in flex cars or originally with alcohol. The liter of biofuel was sold in the last week at R$ 2.0707, against R $ 2.0744 the previous week, down 0.18% in the comparison between the periods. The drop interrupted a two-week high streak.
Anhydrous, used in the mixture with gasoline, was traded last week at R$ 2.4184 per liter, against R$ 2.4205 per liter in the week of November 16 to 20, down 0.09% in the comparison between weeks. This was the second week in a row that the indicator was down.
Daily ethanol
According to the Diário Paulínia Indicator, hydrated ethanol closed for the fourth consecutive day on a low last Friday (27), traded at R$ 2,127.50 a cubic meter, against R$ 2,131.00 a m³ the previous day, down 0, 16% when comparing dates.
