Anhydrous and hydrated close up; Paulínia indicator breaks barrier of R $ 2 thousand per m³

Anhydrous and hydrated ethanol closed valued in the last week by the indicator of Cepea - Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics of Esalq / USP. The biggest increase occurred in anhydrous, used in the mixture with gasoline, which closed at R$ 2.2226 per liter in the week of October 5th to 9th, against R$ 2.1706 per liter in the previous week, appreciation of 2.40 % comparing weeks.

 

Hydrated, used in flex-fuel cars or originally with alcohol, closed at R$ 1.8945 a liter last week, against R$ 1.8642 in the week from September 28 to October 2, an increase of 1.63% in the comparison between the periods.

 

Daily ethanol 

Last Friday (9) the Daily Pauline Indicator for hydrated ethanol broke the barrier of 2 thousand reais per cubic meter. Since March 11, the indicator has not been sold above this level.

 

The cubic meter of hydrated ethanol was sold on Friday at R$ 2,009.00, against R$ 1,955.00 the m³ the day before, an increase of 2.76% in the comparison between the two days. Yesterday the indicator did not work due to the national holiday in Brazil.
