The 34th biodiesel auction of the Brazilian Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), concluded on Thursday (12), sold 485.6 million liters of biodiesel, 99.5% of this coming from the producers holding Social Fuel seal. The average price was R$ 2,060,45 per liter, excluding Petrobras margin, and the total value traded reached the level of US$ 1.015 billion, reflecting an average discount of 12.83% when compared with the average maximum price reference (R$ 2.363 per liter). With total sales, it appears that the market for diesel provides for a sale of about 9.7 billion gallons of B5 for the first two months of 2014.

The submission of offers biodiesel occurred in a single day (9), with 42 producers offering a total volume of 588.7 million liters, with 90.5% of producers holding the Social Fuel Seal. On the first day of selection of offers (11), were sold 409.7 million liters of biodiesel exclusively of producers holding the seal, around 69.5% of the total offered to the entire auction. After the selection of bids, the stage revival of prices by producers, in which we observed a discount of approximately 4.05% occurred.

On the second day selection of offers (12) , were sold 75.9 million liters of biodiesel producers or not holders of the Social Fuel Seal , about 12.8 % of the total offered at the Auction.
