Yesterday (17/3), ANP Resolution 840/2021 was published in the Official Gazette (DOU), which changes the deadline for sending local content reports for the first quarter of 2021. ANP Resolution 836 / 2020, published in December 2020, had already extended the deadline for local content reports scheduled for delivery between March 1st and December 31st, 2020.

Included in the new Resolution are the quarterly expense reports referred to in ANP Ordinance No. 180, of June 5, 2003 and the quarterly certification reports that meet the requirements of Resolution ANP No. 19, of June 14, 2013, both with calculation period from the first quarter of 2020 until March 31, 2021.

The Resolution published today also regulates the resumption of sending the compositional analysis of natural gas, which determines the technical parameters used to define the reference price for natural gas for the purpose of paying government stakes. It resumes the term established in Art. 6 of ANP Resolution No. 40/2009 after the expiration of ANP Resolution No. 816/2020, which suspended the delivery deadlines as a temporary measure to deal with the emergency arising from Covid-19.
