ANP Resolution No. 819/2020 was published today (6/6) in the Official Gazette, which adapts the contractual obligations for the purchase of anhydrous ethanol fuel (added to gasoline), provided for in ANP Resolution No. 67/2011, in character exceptionally and exclusively for the 2020/2021 harvest.
Paragraphs 3, 6, 7 and 12 of article 3, as well as paragraph 1 and the caput of article 10 of ANP Resolution No. 67/2011 have been amended in order to apply a 16% of the volume sold in 2019. This change will be valid for anhydrous ethanol supply contracts valid from July 2020 to May 2021.
This measure was due to the drop in demand for gasoline C, due to the pandemic of COVID-19, which had consequences for the economy and for the demand for fuels in the country.
