At ANP's 70th Biodiesel Auction, 1.04 billion liters of biodiesel were sold to meet mandatory and voluntary blends in January and February 2020. Of the total sold, 99.2% came from producers holding the Fuel seal. Social.
Demand for biodiesel from liquid fuel distributors exceeded ANP's forecast, which had projected that 978 million liters of biodiesel would be traded to supply this biofuel in the first two months of 2020.
The total traded value reached the level of R $ 3,132 billion, excluding the acquirer's margin, and the average trading price was R $ 3,012 / L, an average discount of 16.23% when compared to the weighted average of " Regional Maximum Reference Prices (R $ 3,596 / L).
Biodiesel offers were presented in a single day (December 2), with 41 producers providing a total volume of 1.19 billion liters.
Then, on the first day of selection of offers (12/04), 1.008 billion liters were sold by fuel distributors, a volume exclusively from producers holding the Social Fuel seal.
On the second day of selection of offers (December 10), 30.9 million liters of biodiesel were sold by producers with or without the Social Fuel seal.
The process of submission of biodiesel offers by the mills and selection by distributors for voluntary blending took place on 12/11. 400 thousand liters of biodiesel were traded.
It is noteworthy that the 70th Auction (L70) aims to supply biodiesel in the domestic market during the period from January 1 to February 29, 2020, according to the criteria established in Public Auction Notice No. 007/19-ANP. The volumes traded in the auction must be approved at the ANP Collegiate Board meeting to be held on 12/19.
