The document indicates that the production of oil and natural gas in Brazil in March totaled approximately 2.643 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, with 2.119 million barrels per day of oil and 83.4 million cubic feet per day of natural gas. In comparison with the previous month had oil production increase of approximately 1.4% and 14.4% compared to March 2013. Already the production of natural gas increased by approximately 8% compared to March 2013 and about 0.2% in the previous month, surpassing the record set in February 2014, when production reached 83.2 million cubic meters.
The production in pre-salt exceeded 2.4% in the February, totaling 483,400 barrels of oil equivalent per day, 395,900 barrels of oil and 13.9 million cubic meters per day of gas natural.
