ANP participated on Wednesday (3/30) at the Reate Espírito Santo Table, an online event that followed the agenda of the Program for the Revitalization of Exploration and Production Activities for Oil and Natural Gas in Terrestrial Areas (Reate).

Reate has the objective of seeking advances in the implementation of a national policy that strengthens the activity of exploration and production of oil and natural gas in terrestrial areas, in order to stimulate the development of a strong and competitive industry, with growing production and plurality of operators and suppliers of goods and services.

Director Dirceu Amorelli conducted the ANP's participation in the Reate Espírito Santo Table, which also counted on the participation of superintendents and technicians with themes related to Reate.

In his speech, Amorelli highlighted the importance of Espírito Santo for the national oil and gas industry, especially onshore. According to him, in the bidding rounds in the concession regime already carried out, 63 onshore blocks were purchased in the Espírito Santo Basin, in addition to seven other blocks in the 2nd Permanent Supply Cycle and four areas with marginal accumulations in specific rounds.

“The Espírito Santo Basin comes from a long history of success. It has proved to be an excellent investment for companies of all sizes. This resulted, in signature bonuses alone, in an investment of R $ 35.8 million for Espírito Santo blocks. But this is only the tip of the iceberg, the most important are the jobs and income generated. This industry is intensive in work and job creation, which has been one of the major focuses of the ANP ”, affirmed Amorelli.

This was the third edition of Mesa Reate, which has already had debates on the states of Rio Grande do Norte and Bahia. Three more meetings are scheduled for this year: Alagoas, Amazonas and Sergipe.
