At the 2014 OTC, Brazil’s National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANP) will address the investment opportunities created by the bidding rounds held for the country’s exploration and production areas and recommend the focus for the next rounds.
Magda Chambriard, director of the ANP, says that the number of visitors at this edition is expected to surpass the 89,400 registered for 2013, taking into account the fact that that the number of visitors has been increasing every year since 2000.
The ANP has been participating in the OTC since 1999 and in the Brazil Pavilion since 2003. The agency’s delegation for the event this year is made up of 10 people, including leaders and technicians. Chambriard comments that the most commonly asked questions about Brazil that have come from the international market over the last four years have been on themes such as the bidding rounds, local content issues and doubts on health, safety and the environment (HSE) in the country.
