Bahia Oil & Gas Energy (BOGE25) continues to exceed expectations. Initially projected to attract 12,000 visitors, the event reached 13,000 registrants by its second day—and this number is expected to grow further on Friday (May 30), the final day. The event is being held at the Salvador Convention Center from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with free entry and registration available at www.bahiaoilgasenergy.com.br or onsite.
BOGE is the largest oil and gas event in Northern and Northeastern Brazil, featuring participants from all Brazilian states and 20 countries. Exhibitors have expressed satisfaction with both the foot traffic and the business opportunities—both closed deals and new leads. One example is petroleum engineer Marcelo Jezler, owner of ETEP, a Bahian metallurgical company exhibiting at the fair. He shares that he has always believed in BOGE and participates every year. “Each year the event gets better. Seeing a convention center of this size filled like this is not only proof of the fair’s success but also a sign that the market is heating up.”
Marcelo points out that even with an institutional booth, primarily intended to promote the company, he managed to sell one of the displayed pieces to an operator attending the fair. One of the standout pieces at his booth is the so-called “Christmas tree,” a set of valves used to control the flow of oil from a well.
“The organizers deserve praise for the scientific program, the infrastructure provided to exhibitors, and their professionalism,” Marcelo concluded.
BOGE25 features two major conferences, a business expo, three thematic arenas, a scientific congress, technical sessions, business roundtables, and technical visits. This is the third edition of the event, which is now firmly established on both national and international calendars.
