The reference center on Covid-19 in Latin America now has the support of BR Distribuidora. The company is supplying 10,000 liters of fuel to move the fleet at the service of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz), made up of 55 light vehicles and trucks, used to transport researchers, health professionals, employees and also equipment and various inputs.

BR Distribuidora, through the Unidos Contra a Covid-19 program, will credit prepaid cards the amount that will allow the supply of vehicles indicated by the institution at flag stations in Rio de Janeiro. This donation is part of the set of initiatives being implemented by BR based on the principles of awareness, responsibility and solidarity that guide the company's actions in this difficult moment that Brazil and the world are going through.

In the same direction, fuel donations were made to the fleet at the service of the Brazilian Red Cross, composed of trucks, ambulances and light vehicles, used in the transfer of health professionals, patients and equipment; and also for the Brazilian Air Force (FAB), in the missions to transport patients, respirators, personal protective equipment, oxygen cylinders and medicines, with origin or destination in Manaus, Brasília and Rio de Janeiro.

In another aspect, BR will donate about 200 thousand liters of ethanol to universities and technical schools in several Brazilian capitals to produce 70% alcohol, used in the cleaning of stretchers, handrails and various equipment. To date, more than 20 institutions have been awarded.
