BRAVA Energia is participating in the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) 2026, held from May 4 to 7 in Houston (Texas, USA). During the opening ceremony, the company received the 2026 OTC Distinguished Achievement Award for Companies for the development of the Atlanta Field Definitive System, located in the Santos Basin. This is the first time an independent Brazilian company has received this award.
"OTC is the main debate forum for our industry in the world. Receiving the conference's top award raises BRAVA's profile and validates the excellence of the Atlanta project. It is a recognition that crowns our pioneering spirit as an independent deepwater operator and proves our technical capability," says BRAVA's Offshore Operations Director, Carlos Travassos.
In addition to the award, BRAVA Energia will have an active participation in the technical program on May 4. Travassos will join the "Around the World" panel, with the theme "Brazil Offshore Energy in a Nutshell – Next Wave & New Frontiers." On the same day, BRAVA's Executive Manager, Vinícius Passos, will participate in "Show cases – Largest Worldwide Developments," presenting the Atlanta Project in a panel about the largest global developments in the industry.
Parallel to OTC, BRAVA will also promote the 15th edition of the Brazil Energy Meeting and will be present at the 8th Brazilian Meeting, organized by FGV Energia, events that bring together Brazilian leaders from the oil, gas, and energy sectors.
Industry "Oscar" - The OTC Distinguished Achievement Award for Companies is considered the "Oscar" of the global oil and gas industry. It recognizes exceptional achievements in technological innovation, leadership, and environmental contributions in offshore development.
With the Atlanta project, BRAVA became the first independent Brazilian company to develop a deepwater production system from its initial stage (greenfield).
