Brazilian companies seek partnership with leading centers of innovation and industry 4.0 Germany

Group led by CNI 23 representatives from industries, government entities and visit industrial plants of multinationals like Siemens and Bosch, on a mission that will pass through Berlin, Amberg, Stuttgart and Frankfurt

 

Led by the National Industry Confederation (CNI), a delegation of 23 representatives of Brazilian companies and institutions they landed in Berlin on Monday (10) for a series of visits to reference centers for innovation and advanced manufacturing. The program includes one day to conceptual alignments on the German project for industry 4.0 and four days of technical visits to PD centers & I public and private and model plants, with the aim of promoting cooperation between German institutions and companies operating in Brazil.

 

"The strategy of having a moment of conceptual alignment and be judicious in choosing the centers visited has been successful. This is collaboration academia-industry practice, and the business community of timing. In the two immersions carried out (in the United States and Brazil), mapped at least seven developments, such as partnerships between companies and research centers, and businesses in the area of technology and innovation, "says the director of Innovation CNI, Gianna Sagazio.

 

Immersion in Germany takes place from 10 to 14 October, in a partnership between CNI and Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL) with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Brazil-Germany São Paulo (AHK). The group - made up of businessmen from aeronautical sectors, capital goods, information and communication technology, as well as government officials, academia and the third sector - will visit industrial plants of companies such as Siemens, Bosch and Telekom. Among Brazilian executives will representatives of Embraer, GE, Microsoft and Liquigas. Immersion will the German capital and also the cities of Amberg, Stuttgart and Frankfurt. In the group, there are representatives of the Ministry, MCTIC, BNDES, INPI, SUFRAMA, SENAI, EMBRAPII, FAPESP, Unicamp, and other agencies and institutions.

 

The Immersions Program in Innovation Ecosystem is among the priorities set by the Business Mobilization for Innovation (MEI) for 2016. The initiative is part of the agenda of "Global Inclusion through Innovation" MEI and facilitating public-private arrangements in science, technology and innovation, encouraging the collaboration of Brazilian companies with RD & I centers that work at the frontier of knowledge and development of skills for innovation.

 

Industry 4.0 has been considered the new industrial revolution. However, while countries like Germany, United States and South Korea are ahead of development and industrial application of these innovations, Brazil also explores some of the opportunities in this area. recent CNI Research shows that only 48% of companies use one of the top 10 digital technologies.
