Caterpillar Brazil presents its new president

Odair Renosto is being promoted to replace Luiz Calil as the President of Cat Brazil. This assignment with an effective date of June 1, 2014. Calil is retiring after 45 years working at Caterpillar Brasil. 
Odair is currently the Earthmoving Regional Product Manager with responsibilities for product group market facing aspects for Motor Graders, Medium Wheel Loaders and Medium Tractor Products for Americas South Region. He is also responsible for the product group operations facing aspects of all three Earthmoving product groups in addition to HEX for the Brazil operations. 
In his new role, Odair will provide overall leadership and direction to the Piracicaba and Campo Largo facilities. He will be responsible for all the manufacturing value stream processes for track type tractors, hydraulic excavators, motor graders, small and medium wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, soil compactors, and related components. Odair will also assume the role of Brazil Country Manager to promote Caterpillar’s brand and media relations, as well as the relationship with all levels of government authorities to support Caterpillar’s strategy in Brazil.
