Chariot Oil & Gas announced Wednesday that it has appointed two new non-executive directors. William Trojan and David Bodecott become members of Chariot's board with immediate effect, the firm said.
Trojan has 36 years' experience in the oil and gas sector, and spent almost 20 years at Royal Dutch Shell in a number of senior positions. For Shell he was involved in exploration work offshore Namibia – where Chariot currently holds licenses covering eight blocks.
Bodecott is a geologist whose 40 years' experience, who has worked in Angola, Ghana and Mauritania among other geographies. He is a co-founder of Rockhopper Exploration – which is currently focused on exploration in the Falkland Islands.
Chariot CEO Larry Bottomley commented in a company statement:
