Norwegian offshore vessel operator DOF Subsea has obtained a new contract with Petrobras.

After the recent three-year agreement secured for a pair of pipeline support vessels owned by TechnipFMC, DOF Subsea said on Thursday (2) that it has secured an extension of the contract with Petrobras for the diving support vessel " Skandi Achiever".

With the extension, the "Skandi Achiever" will remain with Petrobras until the fourth quarter of 2022, operating ROV and diving services. DOF did not share the financial details.

Built in 2007, the "Skandi Achiever" is 105.9 meters long, can accommodate 100 people and has an 18-man saturated diving system.

The vessel has a 4.2 x 4.2 meter moonpool and a 137 square meter ROV hangar.
