Cemig SIM, a subscription solar energy and energy solutions company, has yet another innovation for entrepreneurs who want to reduce energy costs. These are "mini-generation" and "micro-generation", models that allow the customer to have their own generating plant from renewable sources on their premises. This system is connected to the network of the responsible distributor so that compensation can be made, enabling a reduction of up to 95% in cost.

Cemig SIM offers all the necessary consultancy, from project design, supply of photovoltaic modules, installation to connection with the distributor. In addition to saving on the electricity bill, it starts to generate its own energy by offsetting it on its invoice and is protected from possible tariff variations. Those interested in saving can contact SIM through contato@cemigsim.com.br to request a proposal and hire one of the plans in a simple and agile way.

According to Willian Souza, Cemig SIM's Energy Solutions executive, the system works connected to the distributor's network, where the energy generated is offset against the total consumption of that property. "If I generate 1000 kWh per month and use only 900, the surplus will be recorded in the form of credit, allowing its use over a period of up to 60 months. For this product the focus is on A4 (medium voltage) customers - supermarkets, large bakeries, small and medium-sized industries and clinics. The savings can reach up to 95% in the energy tariff and the customer will continue to bear only the "cost of demand". I am sure that reducing operating costs will be of great help to entrepreneurs can rise quickly after this delicate moment that we are experiencing ", emphasizes Willian.

In addition to generating clean and renewable energy, the project stands out for its speed of implementation. "Counting from the first contact between the customer and SIM, we estimate a time between four and six months to implement the entire system and start the generation of the energy itself. The average return period is approximately five years. It is a short period , especially if compared to the useful life of the photovoltaic modules is 25 years ", highlights Souza.

How it works:

The solar modules are installed on the company's premises and the sunlight captured is transformed into electrical energy. This energy is consumed by the company and, if it does not consume everything that has been produced, energy credit is generated for use in up to 60 months.
