The Brazilian Petroleum and Gas Institute (IBP) and the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) invite the press to participate in OTC Brasil 2025, the leading offshore energy event in Latin America, taking place from October 28 to 30, at ExpoRio Cidade Nova, in Rio de Janeiro. Press accreditation is available on both the Portuguese and English pages.

OTC Brasil 2025 will bring together more than 20,000 participants from various countries, over 150 national and international speakers, more than 200 exhibitors, and dozens of technical sessions and thematic arenas.
In the last edition, held in 2023, the event featured 180 exhibitors and 24,000 visitors, consolidating Brazil’s leadership in the global technology and energy landscape.

This year’s conference theme is “The Future of Deepwater Technologies: Connecting Oil & Gas and Renewables”, bridging Brazil’s expertise in deepwater operations with new frontiers in the energy transition.

Program highlights include panels on artificial intelligence, carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS), offshore wind, natural gas monetization, diversity, and innovation, as well as executive sessions featuring leaders from Petrobras, Shell, Equinor, TotalEnergies, Chevron, SLB, Halliburton, TechnipFMC, BW Energy, and other global companies.

The program will also include the Pitch iUP Innovation Connections, organized by iUP – IBP’s innovation hub, bringing together 15 startups presenting technological solutions to investors and major companies.
