The Electric Energy Trading Chamber - CCEE and the National Electric Energy Agency - Aneel held this Friday (4/12) the A-1 Existing Energy Auction of 2020, which negotiated 87,600 MWh (5 average MW) for supply between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2022 in a contract that adds up to R $ 12,439,200.00.

The average price of energy sold at the event was R $ 142 / MWh, a discount of 11.25% in relation to the established ceiling of R $ 160.00 / MWh.

The distributor Empresa Luz e Força Santa Maria - ELFSM - from Espírito Santo was the only one that negotiated, acquiring energy from the trader Eletron Energy (Eletron Comercializadora de Energia Ltda).

The auction aimed to sell electricity from existing projects to meet the needs of distribution companies that serve the end consumer.
