Firjan signed an agreement with the Canadian organization CGEF - Canadian Global Exploration Forum to exchange experiences and information in the oil and natural gas market. Formalized at the end of June, the partnership is expected to last for the next three years.

CGEF is an organization that has Canadian oil and gas companies as members, and facilitates the exchange of international experiences. The agreement provides for collaboration between the two entities in bringing together companies based in the state of Rio de Janeiro with Canadian companies. The initiative also values the promotion of opportunities in the onshore exploration and production environment.

The partnership with CGEF will be very productive in this regard ”, highlights the federation's Oil, Gas and Naval manager, Karine Fragoso.

Aware of the movement of the oil and gas market in this Covid-19 pandemic period, Canadian Global released content that talks about the operation of companies in the world, including Brazil. Firjan, on the other hand, prepared the Guidelines for Safe Resumption of Activities, with a specific chapter for the oil and gas market, one of the topics discussed in the federation's Oil and Gas Web Series.
