FIEMG Lab 4.0 Announces 20 Startups Going to Second Phase

The celebration of the 20 startups selected for the second stage of the FIEMG Lab 4.0 Program took place on 5/09 at FIEMG headquarters. In addition to the announcement of companies moving to the next phase, Demo Day FIEMG Lab 4.0 held several Speed Dating business roundtables where 50 startups talked to 15 major industries looking for solutions for their business.

IEL Superintendent Gustavo Macena said that the day was a transition for some teams, but especially thanks and progress for all involved. "What is being done here requires effort, creativity and also a lot of love. We hope that companies that will change the reality of Minas Gerais, Brazil and the world will leave. Congratulations to the selected and, to the unselected, this is just the beginning. ", said Macena.

AgroInteli; Aterra; Cargo Sapiens; CognIO Tecnologia; ConnectData; Crave Industry; Gedanken; Hedro; Juntus Tecnologia; Mais Soluções Inteligentes; Mvisia; Nexum; Órbita; Peerdustry; Plant Scanner; Reduza Custo; SmartScreen; Termica; Trackage and VR Monkey.

 

Termica Solutions, from Joinvile (SC), has its work focused on finding solutions for industrial thermal equipment and processes such as ovens, greenhouses and heaters. Claudio Goldbach, CEO of the startup, is excited to be able to test his product in the next step of FIEMG Lab 4.0. "In the first phase we needed to know the mining industry market. We saw that the mining steel industry has this need to increase the thermal efficiency of their furnaces. With FIEMG Lab we were able to talk with these industries and understand how to improve our solution. Now It's time to make it happen, "he celebrated.

 

1st step in numbers 

The first phase of the program was developed in eight weeks and over 48,000 hours of dedication were invested by the 50 participating startups. 103 connections with industries and unions were established in 87.5% of startups.
