Macaé Energy 2026 begins this Tuesday (3/17) with over 60 exhibiting companies and institutions at the Jornalista Roberto Marinho Convention Center and will feature a technical conference offering more than 50 hours of content across six thematic panels, eight lectures and four dedicated arenas. Endorsed by the Rio de Janeiro State Industry Federation (FIRJAN), the conference is structured across three days with themes aligned to key energy industry priorities: the first day focused on the oil sector and its value chain; the second dedicated to energy integration and natural gas markets; and the third addressing future demands, innovation and employability.

"The growth of Macaé Energy is reflected in both the technical conference and exhibition area. After receiving about 2,000 visitors in 2025, this year we've already registered over 6,000 attendees, consolidating Macaé as a strategic hub for debates and decisions in Rio de Janeiro's energy, oil and gas markets with direct impact on the business environment," emphasizes Karine Fragoso, FIRJAN's General Manager of Oil, Gas, Energy and Naval (photo).

Macaé Energy runs from March 17-19, with the Northern Rio de Janeiro municipality hosting the region's largest energy-focused event. Organized by FIRJAN, produced by Open Brasil, sponsored by Macaé Municipal Government and with strategic partnership from RedePetro-BC, the meeting focuses on business generation. During the three days there will also be lectures and Q&A sessions with buyers as part of FIRJAN's Supplier Opportunity Network program, with 10 confirmed anchor companies. Expected attendees include conference participants, exhibitors, entrepreneurs, market professionals and interested visitors.

"The event aims to connect companies, executives and suppliers from oil, gas and energy markets in a strategic environment focused on networking, opportunity generation and dissemination of qualified technical content," highlights Karine.
