The city of Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, will be the scene of one of the largest events in the country of solar energy and applications in future technologies, such as smart home, electric vehicles, battery storage and intelligent power distribution networks.

Organized by ElektSolar, which specializes in training for professionals in the photovoltaic market, the event, entitled "360 Solar: Connecting Photovoltaic Energy with the Future", will be attended by national and international authorities, who will discuss the future of solar energy in areas such as urban mobility, internet of things and innovation.

The organizers expect about 1,000 participants to attend the two days of the event, which will take place on May 14 and 15, 2020, at Costão do Santinho, in Santa Catarina. The event will also have an exhibition area for dozens of companies to present products, services and innovations in the solar energy area, as well as a congress with about 20 lectures by Brazilian and foreign specialists.

According to Siqueira Neto, ElektSolar CEO and event organizer, photovoltaic solar technology has numerous applications in the life of society, with innovations that appear daily in Brazil and worldwide. “Therefore, we want to bring these innovations together and present to the general public the great flexibility for the use of photovoltaic energy in practically all human activities”, he comments.
