The reforms introduced by the Brazilian government since May 2016 have changed the country's image abroad, assessed Angel Gurría, secretary general of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). "All [the reforms] already made and the others to be made have changed the image, the impression, the profile of Brazil," he said.

Gurria attended a meeting with President Michel Temer in Davos (Switzerland) during the World Economic Forum. After the meeting, the secretary-general also highlighted Brazil's engagement with the OECD. "Brazil is already part of the OECD family, because it already participates in 35 of our committees," he said.
