Davos
President Temer and members of the cabinet will attend meetings with political and business leaders at the World Economic Forum
BrazilGovNewsCurrently in Switzerland for the World Economic Forum, the head of the General Secretariat of the Presidency, Moreira Franco, said on Tuesday (23 January) that Brazil is bringing a positive message to Davos, one of economic recovery and progress boosted by important actions taken by the government.
“(The measures allow Brazilians) to once again hope and expect that jobs are coming back, inflation will be kept low, consumption will increase. People will be able to recover their self-esteem, and believe that the country is going forward", he said.
Still according to Franco, the forum will discuss "a new era that is being outlined," as well as issues such as how education, innovation and technology can help meet the challenges of the future. "I think it is useful for us, who are coming out of a crisis, to be making this effort to enter the 21st century, and this is an opportunity for dialogue," he added.
