The head of the General Secretariat of the Presidency, Moreira Franco, said on Wednesday (17) that the Time to Move Forward programme will help fight the wasting of public money. During an inspection of one of the programme's works, he explained that it helped resume over 7,000 projects that were previously stalled, some since 1999.

“By President Temer's determination, Time to Move Forward is helping fight the waste of public money," he said. He also highlighted the importance of these works for job creation. "Every infrastructure, industry and agribusiness project generates twice as many jobs as in any other branch of economic activity," he explained.
