The Electric Energy Trading Chamber - CCEE has been following the growth in numbers related to the free market. With more than 7,900 consumers subscribed and about 380 traders, another number that draws attention is the total number of companies qualified to act as retailers. In all, 25 agents are able to negotiate contracts and represent consumer and generating units.

In August, the qualifications of Exponencial Energia, approved at the 1,141st meeting of the Board of Directors and effective as of August 1, 2020, and NC Energia, approved at 1,142 CAd meeting valid as of September 2020.

With the two new retailers, CCEE registers a growth of 66% in relation to September 2019, when there were 15 qualified companies.
