To discuss the expansion of Brava Energia's operations in Rio Grande do Norte, Governor Fátima Bezerra received CEO Décio Oddone; Onshore Operations Director Jorge Boeri; Licensing Manager Luis Barbosa; and Institutional Relations Manager Larissa Dantas in a meeting on Tuesday (29).

"We recognize Brava's role in our state in fostering the economy and generating jobs and income, replacing Petrobras," said Fátima Bezerra. She noted that public institutions, such as Idema, play an important role in processing the licensing for the company's operations and that this work should be expanded in the coming months. The CEO of Brava informed about the oil company's decision to increase investments in RN, drill new wells, and boost oil and gas production.

"Rio Grande do Norte is where we concentrate the largest volume of our production in the Northeast, and our purpose is to find mechanisms that allow Brava to increase its investments, increase production, and by doing so, we can increase job generation, income, and revenue for the state and municipalities," reinforced Brava Energia CEO Décio Oddone.

The governor explained that she is working to expand the staff of Idema, the agency responsible for issuing licenses, through public competitions. "Currently, to expedite procedures, the agency even works on weekends," added Jonielson Oliveira, technical director of Idema.

The meeting also discussed joint investments in infrastructure and social projects, such as the partnership between state and municipal management with the then 3R Petroleum, which enabled the reconstruction of 12 kilometers of the RN-401 road, providing access to the municipality of Guamaré.

The road plays a crucial role in the logistics of the region's economy. It gives access to Brava's facilities, acquired from Petrobras in that municipality, including the Clara Camarão refinery. On RN-401, an average of 100 trucks per day transport gasoline, diesel, and cooking gas cylinders.

"Now renovated, the highway has a new status of quality, trafficability, and safety. It is important not only for transporting production from the petrochemical hub but also for promoting tourism and regional development," stated Fátima Bezerra.
