Honeywell Enraf introduces innovative solution for terminal operations

Honeywell announced an update to its next generation Terminal Manager server software built on the Experion® platform, offering full integration of fire and gas, closed circuit television (CCTV), access control, Digital Video Manager and Enterprise Building Integrator systems. Terminal Manager R630 includes the industry’s first configurable workflows for faster set up, setting a new standard in terminal integration. The update further enhances the software, new features include support for all transportation types, stock and inventory management, and SMS and email support for alert management. 
“Initially Honeywell Enraf’s Terminal Manager took an innovative approach to meeting the requirements of bulk terminals. With the addition of R630 features, we’re helping our customers effectively handle their terminal and business needs without the need for time-consuming customization,” said Richard Thompson, general manager of Honeywell Enraf. 
Incorporating more than six decades of experience providing solutions for terminal operators, Honeywell Enraf’s Terminal Manager is a web-based solution for managing the entire operation in bulk terminals. Built on Microsoft® Windows, it is used to monitor and control all critical processes from receipt to dispatch. Interfacing with enterprise resource planning (ERP), access control, loading and unloading, workflow management, inventory management, product reconciliation and documentation systems, it improves control in real time.
Thompson continues, “With the R630 solution we’ve assimilated a global experience of integrated safety and security solutions, DCS automation experience, and leading terminal products, and applied them on a local level.”     
 
The configurable workflows and a modular approach in the latest release of Terminal Manager removes the need for customization and enables users to quickly set up the software to give a broad overview and in-depth control of key parameters such as product availability and movement, tank status, alarms, orders, shipments, shifts, loading bay availability, entries and exits.

Honeywell Enraf’s next generation Terminal Manager R630 is compliant with the latest Experion PKS SCADA for medium and large size terminals and with Experion HS for smaller terminals. 

 

The Terminal Manager R630 update comes with the following new feature enhancements:

Support for all transportation types including truck, marine, rail car & pipeline with configurable workflow tool

Stock & inventory management functions such as bonding / non-bonding, comingling, exchange & product transfer agreements and folio reconciliation

Alert management with Email & SMS support

Modifications to existing standard workflow to support other modes of transport

Use of virtual preset as a loading control system

Developed in the world class development center with Quality standards to CMM Level 5
