The ANP published yesterday (October 1) on its website a new support table with product codes that must be adopted by regulated agents in the lubricants segment (producers, collectors, re-refiners, and foreign trade agents handling lubricating oils).

The new codes must be used in the movement declarations for October, which should be submitted through the Product Movement Information System (SIMP) by November 15, according to ANP Resolution No. 729/2018.

The new table, announced at the 2024 Lubricants Workshop, reduces the number of codes by grouping similar products, aiming to simplify declarations and reduce inconsistencies in reporting. This will enhance the quality of information received and made available through the Agency's dynamic panels.

The new table can be downloaded from the ANP Systems Central (https://csa.anp.gov.br/informacoes/simp), under the item "Click here to download the support tables for I-SIMP," and then by opening the file "T012-Codigos_de_produtos_20241001.xls."

The ANP has also prepared a spreadsheet with the "from/to" mapping between the new and old codes to simplify the transition of stocks and marketing information. This can be accessed at https://www.gov.br/anp/pt-br/canais_atendimento/imprensa/codigos-lubrificantes.xlsx.
