Mayekawa do Brasil was present at Bahia Oil & Gas Energy (BOGE), the largest international event focused on the oil and gas sector in the North and Northeast of Brazil. From exploration at the equatorial margin to production in marginal fields of the Recôncavo, passing through gas from Maranhão and Sergipe, as well as the region’s various refineries and petrochemical plants, the event covers the stages of onshore and offshore exploration and production (upstream), transportation (midstream), refining (downstream), petrochemicals, distribution, naval, and energy integration.
Held from May 27 to 29 at the Salvador Convention Center (BA), the event featured the participation of 300 speakers, in addition to representatives from 20 countries. “BOGE is the main gathering of the oil and gas sector in Brazil’s North and Northeast regions, and we, as global manufacturers of equipment for the Chemical, Petrochemical, and Oil & Gas industries, could not miss it,” says Marketing Head Caroline Braga. She highlights that the company’s portfolio includes Vapor Recovery Units (VRU), Onshore and Offshore; Chillers for HVAC on Oil Platforms, for Special Processes and Utilities; Gas Compressor Units (Acid, Light, Hydrocarbons, and Halogens) in accordance with API 619; Natural Gas Compressor Units for Turbines (Booster); and a CO2 Recovery Unit.
According to the organizers, Bahia Oil & Gas Energy 2026 was the largest edition of all time, both in terms of audience and exhibitors. In its fourth edition, the event was held at the Salvador Convention Center (BA). “This year, all numbers were surpassed. In 2025, there were more than 14,300 attendees over the three days of the event, coming from every state in Brazil and from 15 countries. In addition, there were more than 300 brands across 270 booths, occupying two entire pavilions of the Convention Center, with 245 speakers,” the organization announced. The event has international scope and brings together the leading names in the sector. Free registration is already open on the event website. In addition to the Academic Congress and the Technical Section, BOGE26 featured several activities. One of them was the Business Roundtable, which promotes commercial exchanges between national and international companies, buyers, and suppliers in the sector. A new feature of BOGE26 was the training courses aimed at students, professionals, and those interested in oil and gas activities. The program also included two main plenary sessions, one focused on oil and the other on gas and derivatives. The event fostered a sector-specific business environment with conferences, an exhibition area, business meetings, and thematic arenas.
