The biggest technical seminar on innovations in the bioenergy sector will be officially opened next Monday (August 31) with the panel "Innovation and the future of the Bioenergy Sector and Brazil in the Novo Normal". The official opening of the 3rd UDOP Innovation Seminar will bring together the entire audience from the six thematic rooms of the event, which this year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, will be 100% virtual, interactive and free. register here

For the opening of the event, which will begin at 3 pm with transmission through the UDOP channel on Youtube (www.youtube.com.br/tvudop), the testimonies of the ministers of Science, Technology and Innovations, Marcos Pontes are expected; of Mines and Energy, Admiral Bento Albuquerque and the Minister of Agriculture, Tereza Cristina, who will speak about the importance of innovation for the bioenergy sector, for Brazil and for the world.

Following, the UDOP will pay homage to the physicist and great supporter of renewable energies, Professor Doctor José Goldemberg, who will receive the Agroenergy Trophy, the entity's highest honor.

UDOP President Amaury Pekelman moderates, continuing, the debate "Innovation and the future of the Bioenergy Sector and Brazil in the Novo Normal", with the participation of the panelists: Professor Doutor Gonçalo Pereira, from Unicamp; José Eduardo Bertuzzo, Product Technology Executive - Eldorado Research Institute; Professor Marcos Fava Neves, from USP in Ribeirão Preto; Pedro Noce, Digital Innovation Manager at Raízen; and Luiz Augusto Horta Nogueira, Coordinator of BIOEN - Bioenergy Research Program at Fapesp - São Paulo State Research Support Foundation.
