Oilfield Helping Hands (OHH), a non-profit organization that helps oilfield families in financial crisis, will be hosting its 7th Annual Acadiana Sporting Clays Tournament on July 14, 2018, at GOL Shooting, LLC in Maurice, Louisiana.
Bill Markus, OHH president, said, “Our Acadiana Sporting Clays Tournament is a fun event where teams can get together and compete against each other for a worthy cause. The oil and gas community can do their part to help oilfield families in need by getting a team together and participating, donating, volunteering or by taking advantage of our many sponsorship opportunities. This event promises great food, fantastic door prizes, games and awards. We are looking forward to a great turnout this year.”
Teams will consist of four shooters who will provide their own ammo. Single shooters can also register and will be placed on a team. Flight time for the event will be 9 a.m. Sponsorship opportunities include T-shirt, gun, awards, station, drink, door prizes and cooking sponsorships.

Oilfield Helping Hands is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, established in Houston in 2003. OHH helps oilfield families in financial crisis due to no fault of their own. Since its inception, the organization has provided more than $4 million to industry workers and their families. In 2017, OHH mobilized into action after Hurricane Harvey and was able to provide more than $350,000 to 217 families. OHH continues to work in the most economical fashion to maximize the funds available to recipients each year.
