Started today in Houston, Texas the 47th edition of the OTC NGR Park. They are 130 countries and is expected 100 000 visitors. The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), held between 2 and 5 May. 

The conference offers many opportunities for participants who want to learn about new technologies and applications in the offshore industry, there are 11 technical panels and more than 300 presentations. 

“We cover a broad range of topics that we feel are in the interest of OTC attendees,” said Darrel Harvey of Alan C. McClure Associates Inc., this year’s technical program chairman.

Brazilian pavilion

For the 16th consecutive year the Brazilian Institute of Oil, Gas and Biofuels (IBP), in partnership with the Brazilian Agency for Export and Investment Promotion (Apex) organize the Brazil Pavilion and since then more than 120 Brazilian companies participated in the event. In the conference program this year, is expected the participation of the President of IBP, Jorge Camargo, in a lecture on the development prospects of the pre-salt in Brazil.
