The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) awarded this year 12 technologies with the Spotlight on New Technology Award 2014 prize.'s Awards program was created to showcase the latest and most advanced technologies that are leading the offshore industry. Among the winning companies this year are:

FMC Technologies - ISOL-8 Pump
FMC Technologies -  Offshore Loading Arm Footless
GE Oil & Gas - SeaLytics™
GE Oil & Gas - Zenith GFI™ Ground Fault Immune ESP Monitoring System
Geoservices, A Schlumberger Company - FLAG Fluid Loss and Gain Detection Service
Halliburton Drill Bits and Services -  TDReam™ Tool
SBM Offshore - Very High Pressure Fluid Swivel
Schlumberger - Seismic Guided Drilling Pore-Pressure Prediction Ahead of the Bit
Weatherford - CasingLink™
West Production Technology AS - SwarfPak Technology (Part of WeST Group)
WesternGeco - IsoMetrix Marine Isometric Seismic Technology
The aim of the awards, held annually every edition of the event is to recognize innovative technologies that significantly impact the global offshore exploration and production.
The awards, which refer to the relevant contributions - the person and company to the industry - were submitted this year for Carl Arne Carlsen, DNV, for his contribution to the industry and the issues of security and reliability of offshore structures and mobile applications practices of risk management (OTC Distinguished Achievement Award for Individuals); and the BP (OTC Distinguished Achievement Award for Companies , Organizations or Institutions ) by Losal ® EOR technology.
Was also recognized by the OTC Committee, for his leadership and pioneering (Heritage Awards), Susan Cunningham, for his technical assistance in the Gulf of Mexico, West Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean regions. Cunningham is currently senior vice president of Noble Energy, Gulf of Mexico, Africa, new markets and innovative business
