The aim of the awards, held annually every edition of the event is to recognize innovative technologies that significantly impact the global offshore exploration and production.

The awards, which refer to the relevant contributions - the person and company to the industry - were submitted this year for Carl Arne Carlsen, DNV, for his contribution to the industry and the issues of security and reliability of offshore structures and mobile applications practices of risk management (OTC Distinguished Achievement Award for Individuals); and the BP (OTC Distinguished Achievement Award for Companies , Organizations or Institutions) by Losal ® EOR technology.

Was also recognized by the OTC Committee, for his leadership and pioneering (Heritage Awards), Susan Cunningham, for his technical assistance in the Gulf of Mexico, West Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean regions.
