Petrobras and Transpetro will announce this Wednesday morning (5/27) investments exceeding R$ 2.8 billion in the state of Amazonas through 2030. The event will be attended by the President of the Republic, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, alongside Magda Chambriard, President of Petrobras, and Sérgio Bacci, President of Transpetro.

The ceremony will be held at the Bertolini Construção Naval da Amazônia Shipyard, which is responsible for building 18 barges ordered by Transpetro. These vessels will ensure greater logistical efficiency in the supply of marine fuel across the country's ports. On this occasion, the resumption of Petrobras' investments in the production of Urucu will also be announced, allocating approximately R$ 2.5 billion for the drilling of new wells.
