Petrobras Bolivia inaugurates on this friday, January 31, Itaú Gas Plant, located in the field of the same name, operated in partnership with Total, British Gas and YPFB Chaco. The project, part of the development plan of the Itaú field, will increase the processing capacity of the natural gas field of 1.7 million m3 / d to 5.7 million m3 / d. The president of Bolivia, Evo Morales, the opening ceremony is planned. 
Itaú field is located in the Gran Chaco Province, northern part of the San Alberto field in Bolivia, that commercially start its operations with three producing wells. The ITU-4 well is considered one of the best wells megacampos the South area of ??the country, with a production of about 2 million m³ / day.
