In March, the average monthly production of oil from fields located in the province of pre -salt in the Santos and Campos basins , hit record monthly average of 395 thousand barrels of oil/day (bopd). The index is 2.4% above the previous record set in February of 385,000 bopd.
According to the company, contributed to the record production of the first connected to a riser support buoy (BSR), the field Sapinhoá, started in February well. The well has shown above average performance and stands as the best well producing country , with approximately 36 thousand barrels/day bpd. The second well this BSR already interconnected in early April and is producing 31,000 bpd.
The company explains that in addition BSR field Sapinhoá, the facilities have been completed in two other BSRs and, in the first half, will be completed installing the latest. Such facilities will enable the continued growth of production in pre-salt, with the interconnection of seven new production wells in the City of São Paulo FPSO Cidade de Paraty. With this, the capacity of production and processing of these units will be reached until the third quarter of 2014.
On 19 March, was also beaten daily record of the pre-salt extraction, with 420,000 bopd. The company points out that this record was once again overcome the first on April 15, with 428,000 bopd, and then on April 18, with 444,000 bopd due to increased production of P-58 and the entry into production of the second well in BSR Sapinhoá.
Total production in Brazil grows 0.2% 
Total production of oil and natural gas from Petrobras in Brazil, in March, was 2 million 331 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd), 0.2% above the volume produced in February. Included the production operated by the company to its partners in Brazil, the volume reached 2 million 483 thousand bpd, indicating an increase of 0.3% compared to the previous month (2 million 476 thousand bpd). 
The exclusive oil production in the country averaged 1 million 926 000 barrels / day (bopd), exceeding by 0.1% the production of February 2014, when they were produced 1 million 923,000 bopd. Included the portion operable to partner companies, oil production in Brazil reached 26,000 bopd 2 million, 0.3% more than in February (2 million 21 000 bopd).

With this, the capacity of production and processing of these units will be reached until the third quarter of 2014.
