PetroReconcavo has taken a strategic step to transform its oil transportation logistics in Rio Grande do Norte. The company signed a contract with Grupo Dislub Equador for the construction and operation of a dedicated storage facility at Dislub’s Liquid Terminal in the Port of Pecém (CE), with a capacity of 40,000 m³ — equivalent to about 250,000 barrels.

The initiative strengthens the company’s midstream operations, expands its commercialization options, and consolidates its position as a benchmark onshore operator in Brazil.

The project represents significant progress in PetroReconcavo’s logistics and commercial strategy, increasing its midstream presence and diversifying sales routes. The 13-year contract includes co-investment in infrastructure for truck unloading and measurement systems, integrating both parties’ facilities through road transport.

According to PetroReconcavo CEO José Firmo, “We developed a pioneering solution with the right partners, which will enhance our operational resilience and allow us to capture the best value for our oil. This is a decisive step toward excellence, enabling us to continue developing our reserves and creating new business opportunities.”

Grupo Dislub, recognized for its excellence in liquid terminal management — such as the Port of Itacoatiara (AM) — reinforces, through this agreement, a long-term partnership guided by quality and efficiency.

With this operation, PetroReconcavo reaffirms its robustness, flexibility, and innovation capacity, ensuring sustainable gains in commercialization margins and consolidating its position as a benchmark operator in efficiency and resilience in Brazil’s onshore market.
